The Vancouver Polo Club is a purveyor of the fine sport of polo.

The Vancouver Polo Club opened in May 2014. It offers polo lessons and clinics, practice games, tournaments and corporate and charity events. Our season is from June to September. Spectators are welcome anytime, free entry. Check our playing schedule, bring a lawn chair and watch!

PLAYING SCHEDULE

Monday - Polo Pony Rest Day
Tuesday - 7-8:30pm Practice Game
Wednesday -  7-7:45pm Group Lesson
Thursday - 7-8pm Instructional Game

Friday - 7-7:45pm Group Lesson
Saturday - Polo Clinics available
Sunday - 2-3:30pm Practice Game (unless away
                 for tournaments)

Other Offerings:

  • Individual Lessons - anytime when no scheduled games/lessons (Tue - Fri 10am-6pm, Sat - Sun 10am-1pm)
  • Group Lessons - see times above or book your own for 2+ people (same times as individual lessons)
  • Stick & Ball - anytime when no scheduled games/lessons (Tue - Fri 10am-6pm, Sat - Sun 10am-1pm)

Notes:

  • Polo Season from June to the end of September
  • Spectators welcome anytime, free entry. Bring a picnic and watch!
  • Practice Games are for novices/advanced players, instructional games for beginners/novices, group lessons for all levels
  • Club ponies  available for rental, please enquire
  • ARRIVE EARLY: Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled lesson or game time in order to help get your horse ready
  • CANCELLATIONS: All cancellations must be made 24hrs in advance of your scheduled game or lesson, or you will be billed for your reserved space. If the VPC has to cancel (eg because of bad weather) you will receive a credit for any amounts paid
  • RIDING GEAR: Jeans or breeches, boots that cover the ankle and have a heel, riding helmet. Please enquire if you don’t have your own helmet
